"Loved the history of the property and how it has been honored. Lots of cool touches in that way - ie, decor. The veranda is a treat to sit and observe butterflies flying to the plants around the area. It is not a luxury property, and some areas appear to need a bit of maintenance. But it’s a cool place to stay. The breakfast was great and the dining room was cool. "

"Room AC unit was ‘squeaky’ along with the air vent in the bathroom and there isn’t an option to not have the fan on. Bathroom was also very small and the door just barely fits by the toilet. Other than those minor inconveniences, our stay was great. "

"Great location in the downtown area. Staff friendliness and helpfulness could not be better. We enjoyed our stay. Upgrades suggestions would be to have an ice machine available for the guests. "

"When we showed up it was just like the website. It was old lovely and probably haunted. It was great. Anyone that complains about how old etc this hotel is didn’t do any research. Loved it!!!!"
