We enjoyed our stay but the property is a little dated. Our shower door handle was coming off and the towels were clean but well used. Also the pool water was a bit green. But the ambiance was nice, as once you go through the lobby you feel like you are in the jungle, yet you can walk to the monkey forest and the water palace and a lot of great restaurants.

Cute place, but the ants need to be controlled
The service in the hotel was excellent and the breakfast was superb. The view at breakfast was the best part. However, the bed was very hard and the room was full of ants. Luckily, I was only there one night.

Very nice
Overall a very nice hotel. Clean, and the staff was very friendly. The pool was lovely. It was a short walk (~7 minutes) to the main city center. My only complaint was the WiFi didn’t reach our room, however it was accessible in the lobby.

Breakfast made up for initial uncertainty
Our arrival was really complicated. At the airport there were 2 different drivers waiting for us with our name and the hotel´s name. Long story short, we were told we were lucky to have chosen the "legal" driver because the other one was a "hacker driver" - Now, I don´t know what this is supposed to mean but they should really take care of their customers. The arrival was stressful and the hotel did not offer to compensate in any ways. I kept asking to talk to "Dewa" but now I´m doubting this person even exists. I was texting with Dewa all the time and when I met people at the front desk they all told me they were the ones writing the messages and signing "Dewa", their english in the text messages was great and then in person they could barely communicate. I don´t want to be "Lucky" to choose the legal driver, I want the hotel to make sure I´m safe on my arrival to a foreign country. I only recommend this hotel because of the location and the breakfast area. Our room had a sliding door which barely locked from the inside and I could see the light coming from the hallway and noises from the outside. Actually as I type this review I realize I would not recommend this hotel if you have other options. It´s a good "B choice".

Very quiet and nice hideaway from the business of ubud Centre. The staff are so attentive and friendly which completely made the trip. The restaurant has the most amazing food we have had in Bali so far, we ate there every night.

No wifi. Extremely loud fridge. Sometimes no hot water. Housekeeper keeps knocking on the door in the morning. Front desk manager seemed annoyed just by the second question. Can hear the employees all day in the room. Bedlight was out of order. Amazing pool. Breakfast is made to order and an omelet takes 30min to serve when it was the only order at the moment. Small portion. Not sure why they wouldnt just serve me two meals when I was paying for two persons anyway.

I stayed in two different rooms; the one with a balcony was much better than the "honeymoon suite," which was dark and without a balcony. The included à la carte breakfast was good although the service a little rocky. The hotel is surrounded by jungle and set back from the main road, which makes it overall quiet, but the animals were quite loud, particularly the 4am morning rooster calls. Bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper. They should instruct their hotel staff not to grill solo female travellers about their marital and family status; I got a thorough questioning when I arrived; would have been annoying anytime, but was particularly unwelcome after 30 hours of air travel.

This hotel was convenient enough to walk to the main road of Ubud, and far enough away to be quiet and tranquil. We stayed in room 205 which was spacious and had fantastic views of the surrounding trees and the pool below. It's about a 15 to 20-minute walk to Monkey Forest, and maybe 10 minutes to Yoga Barn which is at the end of the street.

Paradise!
Beautiful hotel close to centre of Ubud yet feels a million miles away from everything. Room was lovely (101) however air con didn’t reach the coolness we were after. Millions of ants which you’d expect being in the middle of the jungle. Just call front desk and they’ll send the boys down to spray and remove. Great breakfast daily with a view over the jungle. Fantastic coffee shop next door and a few great warungs close by if you didn’t feel like the 10 min walk to centre. Pool was insane! Put aside a day to spend lying by the pool with a few Bintangs and a club sandwich from the restaurant. I will return to this hotel however next time I will spend the extra money on the rooms poolside. Plenty of steps to climb so if you have bad knees or are elderly I’d think twice about staying here. Overall a fantastic stay!

This place is okay but not great. We stayed in the Private Villa for 3 nights & the Honeymoon Suite for 4 nights. The villa was nice & clean & had its own private pool and sun chairs. The only issue in that room was the water pressure, took forever to fill the tub. The in-room safe was very tough to open though & you have to use the bypass key, the staff didn’t even know how to use or set up a code. Do not book the honeymoon suite, spend the extra money for ANY of the other rooms. It was dark & dingy, there was no patio or deck and the blinds to the windows were both broken so the only way to get natural light was to tie the blinds to the outlet so they wouldn’t fall down. And everyone walking by can see right in the room, so there’s no privacy with the blinds up. The mirror was losing its reflection, the ceiling fan swung around wildly, & the shower water pressure was weak. The staff at the restaurant do not speak very fluent English so ordering food was a bit rough sometimes. The breakfast was good for a free breakfast but wasn’t anything fancy. We ate one lunch & dinner there and the food was good, but definitely overpriced compared to other restaurants in the area. We weren’t a big fan of the location. It’s on a more run down street in Ubud with lots of small shops, garages, laundry etc. that are basically just for the local Balinese. The pool is quite nice and was never over-crowded which was good. Overall, the staff are very nice which was good.

Location is perfect. Lovely pool with beautiful exterior, which is cleaned every morning. Rooms are a bit tired though. Bathroom is little bit dirty, not sure you would want to take a bath over there, only quick shower. Very good and tasty breakfast, a lot of choices. You can also organize any transfer or ask to drive you around the island all day for just a 50-60 $. Overall experience is great, definitely the best choice for such price. Highly recommended.

The best part of it is definitely the swimming pool! Specially if you book a room with a pool view. The staff is very welcoming, helpful and friendly. The hotel is in a very quiet area which you can appreciate when you come back from the busy streets of Ubud. The hotel in general would need a bit of fixing/cleaning here and there. The breakfast which was included in our booking is terrible...

Aesthetically the room and grounds very pleasing and tranquil. We stayed in deluxe room which was very generous in size including the bathroom, with direct pool access (a good bit of exercise- you must like stairs to get down to the pool and our room!) staff friendly and someone was always cleaning the grounds with great attention to detail. The bed was quite firm/hard which is common for Indonesia, we had hoped for softer. The rainfall shower head maybe had half the nozzles working and the aircon seemed tempremental although it certainly kept the room cool. The dining area also had a great ambience- my one recommendation would be to buy cushions for the dining chairs to make them more comfortable. Minibar well priced for a minibar. Breakfast had standard set menu, potatoes served with the hot food options were room temperature, recommend trying out the bubur injin - rice pudding for breakfast.

Feels very junglous but 5 mins walk from main Ubud
Loved this hotel, the customer service here was amazing. I recommend them highly, such pleasant attentive staff. They made such a fuss of us and we really appreciate it. The breakfast was great and the pool was fabulous. The location is such a bonus, you feel like your in the jungle but really you are 5 mins walk from the main area of Ubud.

Hidden paradise
The cottages were great beautiful, tucked into a hillside in Ubud, an easy walk to the Yoga Barn, Monkey Forest and Central Market area. The staff was super sweet and it was great to have a restaurant on site.

Thorough review
This property is absolutely stunning. The pool was amazing as it was right in the jungle. The room was gorgeous and the standard room even has an awesome balcony. The free breakfast was yummy. The only issues we had were that our room didn’t have hot water and the water pressure was really low. The bath was huge and I was excited to use it but was unable to. Upon telling the staff they said engineering left for the day so they will fix it in the morning and we can shower in a different room if we want (who wants to do that?). The next day it wasn’t fixed. They told us we could switch rooms if we stayed another night but we chose not to. I was also disappointed by the hotel claiming they offer a free shuttle. Upon checkin we wanted to rent a scooter but they said none were available until 6pm so we asked about their free shuttle. They said we can’t get the free shuttle until the next day because we just checked in that day... (doesn’t make sense). I found that really ridiculous and they wanted to charge us 50,000idr to go to the monkey forest down the road when their websites advertises free shuttle. We were disappointed by this. Oh there is also a rooster that is super loud so bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. Other than these few mishaps I loved the property and room. Oh, also the “king bed” was 2 twins pushed together. Not comfortable for a couple as there was a crack in between them.

Five Star Tropical Oasis in Ubud
I liked this hotel so much I extended my stay two additional days. The standard room is spacious with a comfortable bed, the shower is great, the patio is also spacious, and the infinity pool is awesome. The deluxe rooms are even more spacious. The garden and pool area are well groomed. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel is a ten to fifteen minute walk to anywhere in Ubud. I also recommend renting a motorbike at the hotel ($5 USD per day) to visit the rice terraces and waterfalls. I really really liked this hotel.

Excellent Boutique Hotel in Ubud
The standard and deluxe rooms are spacious with large patios. The bathrooms are spacious as well with great showers. The hotel grounds are a tropical paradise with an awesome infinity pool. The daily breakfast is decent (I had the banana pancakes five days in a row). The staff is super friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in a quiet area that is a 10 to 15 minute walk anywhere in Ubud. They also have motorbikes for rent. For two days I rented a motorbike ($5 USD) and had a great time exploring the rice fields outside of Ubud. I highly recommend this hotel. I should mention the WiFi in the room was poor at times but the reception from the patio was usually very good.

“Jungle” stay in Ubud
Although set on a normal quieter street outside the centre of Ubud the cottages are hidden in a jungle. The rooms are arranged downwards to the infinity pool at the bottom, reception at the top, breakfast room restaurant 2 floors down. The pool is spectacular and nice to lounge around. The basic rooms have a patio area outside them to sit at. Ubud is overdeveloped but very pleasant with loads of restaurants bars shops cafes etc. and loads to see and do. There is a nice small Indian restaurant “Little India” close to the hotel where we had lunch on two occasions.

Lovely oasis in Ubud!
We loved our stay here! The staff were all really polite and friendly. They decorated our room with flower petals as we were on our honeymoon, and even brought us a cake. We had the room with a small private pool and it had a lovely view. The breakfast included was quite good too. Location is on a quiet street but not far to walk to the main street of Ubud. The hotel arranged a driver for us to take us to some of the tourist sites farther away. Only con was that our room is right below where the breakfast area is, so in the mornings you can hear chairs moving around from above; but this didn’t bother us too much.

Osa henkilökunnasta oli todella ystävällisiä, osa vähemmän. Kylpyhuoneessa asui iso hämähäkki. Sängyn päällä olevan katoksen päällä oli pölyä ja hyttysverkossa oli reikiä. Sijainti oli hyvä ja uima-allas alue oli rauhallinen ja mukava. Huoneessa oli todella kosteaa.
