The staff was pleasant and professional. The property was walking distance to the National Gallery of Art (our primary destination), excellent restaurants and the Metro. Our room had no view, the bathroom was tiny (hard to exit) and our shower was missing half the sliding door. By design? If so, never seen that before. Excellent in- room coffee and the hotel cafe food was also excellent.

Superb location for the main attractions downtown. Friendly staff. We had a deluxe room - extremely clean and comfortable. Lack of drawers/shelves for storage and the bathroom also had minimal space for storage. Well equipped gym with a fridge full of cold water and towels. Good air con. We used Riggs Cafe. It’s well used but staff are very attentive. Only downside - the rooftop bar plays loud music (on Saturday night) which booms through to rooms on the 9th floor. Not brilliant when you’re paying a good price for a “quiet” room. The duty manager was very helpful. All in all - we were very happy
