"We ended up leaving this property earlier than planned because we were really disappointed with our stay. We know our visit fell over Lunar New Year, which is obviously a very busy time, and we completely understand that this can make things more hectic. That said, from the moment we arrived, we didn’t feel welcomed. We had booked and paid in advance and arrived three hours after check-in time, so we expected our room to be ready. Instead, we were told that relatives were staying in the room we had booked. We were also informed that someone had previously tried to cancel our booking, which was worrying. There was no real greeting or welcome, and it immediately made us feel like we were an inconvenience. There was also a clear language barrier. We understand there may only be one English-speaking staff member, but at times other staff seemed dismissive and even walked away while we were trying to speak with them. We stayed polite and respectful throughout, but it didn’t feel like that effort was returned. Very little information was shared with us during our stay. We weren’t approached about the advertised trekking tour, and since we didn’t book one, we weren’t given any suggestions on what else we could do. One evening, we came out of our room to find staff and other guests all eating dinner together, which hadn’t been mentioned to us at all."

"Beautiful hotel with lots of plants, awesome view and charming cabins. Also, they have super friendly and attentive staff and very delicious food. My family and I spend some great days there, my child was specially happy to play with the puppy and cats."

"Room was clean and the area clean. The area was nice place to rest after a busy schedule. Staff were great and made our stay extra special over the Tet holiday. Played a few games of pool which was a fun way to end the evening. Its about 10 -15mins out of town so make sure u can rent a bike. Good place for families as the kids have space to run around "

"JK was an amazing stay near Sapa. Located at the village entrance, it is close enough to everything all the while being secluded enough to be quiet and relaxing at night. The rooms are absolutely charming and spotless. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and shared a lot of information about the town and activities. Would definately stay here again!"

"Sapaxa Spring Garden Ecolodge has been the highlight of our trip to Sapa. It truly has been an immersive experience in the beautiful and peaceful countryside. The bungalow style suites consisted of comfortable, cozy beds and bedding which includes all the necessities that any hotels can offer. The suite felt like an haven of relaxation and provided us with great privacy. We particularly enjoyed waking up and sitting on the porch overlooking the views while sipping on coffee each morning or reading a book midday. The property itself is adorned with traditional wooded panels and lamps. It was also a treat to see and spend time with the country animals roaming around the area each day. The home cooked meals prepared by the host were also so deliciously made and generous in portion. My partner and I felt it tasted far better than many of the meals we tried at the restaurants in town. Above all, the host and his family were so lovely and kind. They are so dedicated in their craft and maintaining their property as great hosts. Our stay at Sapaxa Spring Garden Ecolodge has made a lasting memory. It was such a calming and peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. We highly recommend for anyone who's looking to escape from the crowdedness of the town and recharge in a calming and traditional atmosphere that Sapa has to offer under the care of such wonderful hosts! "The best place and the best service!! We loved our stay here, special shoutout to My for hosting us and becoming our first Vietnam friend The garden is so lovely to relax in, great detox place. Also the food is 10/10. We will hopefully be back one day with our friends and family. "
