"Placewas good, Easy access to beach and we thoroughly enjoyed the stay"

"Having travelled around India for 5 weeks it was refreshing to find a hotel where we weren’t pestering for reviews every 5 minutes! Maybe that’s because they don’t need to as they already know that their staff are all friendly and helpful, the hotel and rooms comfortable and spotlessly clean, nice food and pool. "I absolutely loved staying here, really beautiful hotel and excellent location. The staff were so lovely and helpful too. I was sad to only stay one night, I’ll come back for sure! "

"It looks like a 5 star resort the room is so clean and location is just 10 min walk to the beach"

"Excellent atmosphere and vibes! Staff is always with a smile and very happy to work. It’s a shame I had planned to move elsewhere or I would have happily stayed at this property. P.s as a foreigner here you can apply for UPI the only way to pay with your card all across India"

"Really sweet spot just off the beach up a commerce alley. Jishnu the host was very nice and helpful with getting comfortable. Hot shower if you want it - but I’ve learned to love taking cold showers here - and the bathroom was perfectly clean and well appointed. I will be back here at the Gypsy next year for sure."

"No ac"

"Chambre très austère, pas celle des photos. Pas de serviette de bains. Draps déjà bien vieux. Pas de moustoquaire aux vitres. Emplacement calme et a 2 pas de Varkala beach."
