"We recently stayed at the Coach and Horses in Castleton and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. Our room was spotless and very well maintained, making it a comfortable place to relax after a day exploring cardiff. Breakfast was excellent, offering great quality and variety at a very reasonable price. It was the perfect way to start the day. We also chose to dine at the Coach and Horses on two evenings, once in the restaurant and once in the bar area and both experiences were equally impressive. The food was exceptional on both occasions, and prices felt more than fair for the quality served. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommended."

"Very convenient for the train station and centre of Cardiff. Hotel was very modern and clean. Room was slightly small but plenty big enough for one night. Staff at check in were great. Would definitely use them again. "

"The Room was clean and tidy but the whole property is looking tired and in desperate need of being modernised. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was OK. There was a bar but the beer taps had a black bin bag thrown over them which did not look good. Walls to the rooms were thin so you could hear those in the adjoining rooms. Adequate parking if you are used to slopes!"
