"This was a great choice for our family of two adults, three teenagers and two dogs. The location was close enough to Bar Harbor without the high cost of lodging. The rooms are newly renovated with efficiency kitchens. The full size refrigerator allowed us to stock up on food from Walmart and eat throughout of four night stay, which saved us a lot of money. The daily breakfast had a lot of hearty offerings. The afternoon cookies in the lobby were an added treat. This hotel offers a gym and soon their pool will reopen. All employees from Katie at the front desk to the ladies in housekeeping were all so pleasant and nice to speak with. Even from my first phone call to this hotel to add my dogs to the reservafion, everyone was always so polite and professional. I'm glad we chose Hawthorn Suites for our time while visiting Acadia and Bar Harbor. We had a great four nights here. If we ever come back to Acadia, we would not hesistate to rebook another stay here! "

"Cute, quaint motel that offered just what we were looking for during our Bar Harbor/Acadia Park get away. The decor and cleanliness of the motel was top notch! The grab and go goodies, fresh coffee and flavored water was perfect throughout the day. The location of the motel was ideal and within walking distance to many local shops and restaurants. Acadia Park was easily accessible. We would highly recommend this motel for anyone traveling to the area! "

Christopher was witty and right on with his recommendations of places to eat. The location was great, quiet but close to everything. Rooms were nice and comfortable. I would definitely recommend!!"

"The pictures don’t do this place justice! Super well kept- every detail was perfect and felt more like a nice hotel with vacation amenities. There was a great bus service to and from town, even though we chose to walk home a night or so. It had tons of info and flyers in the office. The staff cleaned and made up the rooms with details and bows each day, with fresh soap, shampoos, etc. Really great- we loved it. Definitely would recommend. We had the room with 3 queens and had 2 teens plus us parents and it was super roomy. Definitely close to the park and to Bar Harbor. Great location and where I’d choose again in the future. "
