I spoke to Grace over the phone after the booking was confirmed and she was very polite and helpful. I then met with Solomon who showed me my room and helped with the checking in process. I enjoyed my stay as the property was as advertised.

The room was spotless, furniture was well kept and modern. The pool is clean and nice. The security is phenomenal. They clean after 2nd night, which is convenient. Love The Gallery. I will always stay here.

The Gallery is such an Accra staple. It is always a lovely stay. The Sage cafe restaurant downstairs has great food and great hours. The doormen open every door. The rooms are silent, and private. Everyone is respectful, and I always enjoy my experience. My host is a gem, and I know I will staying there again. My only con is not being informed that I and everyone staying in room needs to have passport to checkin, but this is a good security feature to ensure everyone in building is known. I get it, but It should be included in communication prior to. Otherwise phenomenal experience, and I cannot wait to go back.

The apartment was neat and beautiful as advertised. However, it took me about 2 hours to get access to the room after check-in as the passcode the host shared with me was wrong. I called and he wasn't answering. After 2 hours he finally realised the code was wrong and sent me the correct code.

I booked this through Expedia, but when I arrived at reception, they said it was a 3rd party booking through a company called Cozy Properties. Cozy Properties did not book the room. I had to then go to a different apartment where they had a room ready. It was a very frustrating experience. The property managers for Cozy Properties were rude and not very helpful. Then the second day I returned to my room and there was not power. Either the property owner or the property manager (Cozy Properties) did not pay the prepaid electric so had to wait for them to pay to get power to the room. The room was damp and had a moldy smell. I had to sleep with the sliding glass door open to get fresh air into the room. Thank goodness there was a screen for bugs and I was not on the ground floor. It was overall a bad experience. I wish I knew how to tell I was booking with a 3rd party on the Expedia app because I will not do that again. On a good note, the shower was great.

This was honestly the worst experience at any place I’ve stayed at in Ghana. I booked this room because it had amenities that I needed like a washer. I tried to wash clothes and the washer was broken and it leaked all over the floor. There was only one outlet in the entire unit that I could use, the couch was broken, there was no drying rack like other units had to dry clothes, the handle for the showerhead was broken so in order to bathe, you had to hold it. They weren’t willing to give me any type of refund or a compensation, and when I asked to be changed to another room, they claimed they didn’t have another room to put me in when I had mentioned that I was considering extending my stay because of my flight schedule, they said they will put me in another room the next day, but then also expected me to pay the full price if you’re ever booking at these apartments do not book with this agency in particular. There are other bookings for the same exact apartments, but with different agencies that will treat you better.
