"A spacious hotel with extensive grounds and facilities. Being May and off peak it was not full and so had a relaxed vibe. It was easy to get seated in the restaurants and bar. Service good if slow and staff very friendly. We had a small issue as our booking wasnt transmitted properly from Expedia and so it was unclear to the hotel we had booked half board. "Hotel is modest but overall very good check was fine and breakfast ok only thing I found an issue was the front door was locked which may sound fine but if you didn’t have you key it might be a problem. You were suppose to lock it especially at night and you had to rely on others to do so which was often not the case. There was not often a person at the desk no other issues and still worth the stay "

"This hotel is somewhat under construction so the living room is not set up well but the staff is excellent, the breakfast options were good (with real cappuchino - not from a machine!) and there is an elevator so we didn't have to lug suitcases up a stairway. The bed was comfortable and housekeeping came in every day. Front desk and breakfast staff were very helpful with suggestions for restaurants, markets and a barbershop!"

"After a busy 10 days sight-seeing around Sicily, we found ourselves in this oasis that is Guigguilena. The greeting from Sabrina was warm and personal. The balcony of our spacious room was almost overhanging the ocean. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. One evening Claudia made us a typical and very tasty Sicilian dinner.
