"Unique place to stay. Small but perfect for what we needed. Everything worked fine. Wish it had an actual heating system rather than a portable heater. Got pretty cold and I was afraid to leave the heater on while we were out. This meant longer heating times. Convenient location to Winter Harbor and Ellsworth. Recommend pod-type coffee maker. It would be easier and less messy than bags of coffee."

"Our stay at Elsa's was enjoyable. Comfy mattress, clean room, very nice location. Breakfast was a highlight. We stayed 2 nights. One morning was pancakes, blueberries with compote, bacon, great coffee and juice. Next day was a spinach, mushroom, onion, boursin cheese omelet with raspberry puffs. Only issue was that we could easily hear the people next to us in other room."

"We loved this place, not least because our River View room gave us a beautiful outlook. We even saw a seal swimming past. The two beds were big and comfy, the room had been renovated and a real person on reception made a nice change. I strongly recommend this place."
