This is such a special property with a beautiful garden that overlooks Concordia Temple. Our room was built into the side of a rock so we could see exposed rock from inside the room. They also had very cool lighting inside to highlight the plants & shower that was also built into the rock. It is so beautiful & very comfortable. Everything about our stay was perfect. Check-in was easy & our host was so helpful. You will love it here!

Beautiful orivate setting and amazing gardens. Very peaceful and charming hotel . Tha rock wall inside was really nice and the bathroom soectacular. Suggested and amazing local restaurant as well

The room and gardens are absolutely beautiful! It is very quiet and serene, and very special to stay in a room literally built against a cliff face. The minibar was well stocked, and prices were reasonable. The view to the Roman buildings is impressive during the day and at night as they are illuminated. A very easy walk into town, and the host have us several recommendations for restaurants. We are at Sal8, which was delicious and very busy/popular, so make sure to book!

O Villa Caveta só tem três quartos. Então, se estiver com mais dois casais pode ocupar todo o hotel. O lugar é lindo, super charmoso, silencioso, com uma linda vista do Vale dos templos e um enorme jardim e pomar, de onde podemos também comer frutas. É possível para o carro na porta. Os três quartos são diferentes mas todos tem uma pequena copa equipada. As comodidades dos quartos são de ótima qualidade! Tem que entrar em contato com o hotel (Orazio é o recepcionista) no dia anterior para avisar o horário de chegada. O café da manhã é entregue de manhã no quarto pelo próprio Orazio: croissant, patisserie… Na primeira manhã sentimos falta de coisas mais frescas, como frutas, iogurte, ovos… mas acabamos comprando para os outros dias. É a vantagem de se ter uma cozinha no quarto.

This place is totally unique. The main house is a villa on a gated property with a huge garden nestled among buildings near the main area of Agrigento. The "Luxury Studio Suite" is a completely separate unit built into the side of the cliff with exposed rock inside. It is very cool. The balcony overlooks the Greek temples and the sea. It was great enjoying a drink and the view after a day at the temples. Downtown is a quick drive with easy parking. Our host gave us excellent recommendations for dinner and breakfast. We would have liked to stay more than one night!

The unit that is separate from the house is not suitable for 4 people as advertised. The sofa bed is downstairs and whoever is using it would need to go upstairs and through the open plan bedroom to use the bathroom. It might work for young children/family but not 4 adults. Despite advertising as sleeps 4 when we went to go to bed and pulled out the sofa bed we discovered it was not made - there was no spare bedding/blankets/pillows. I needed to give my adult son my blanket and use towels to keep warm. the next day they brought sheets and had the gardener make up the bed - when we returned again there was no blanket so another night with towels..........My adult son is 35 years old - they check passports yet the host did not question about the second bed - he was a charming man but perhaps did not want to cause himself work. other than that gorgeous garden as mentioned in other reviews.
