Really nice hotel close to the station and the Maroot shopping building. Rooms were clean and I particularly liked the shower/bath room. Like quite a few Japanese hotels, the shower and bath (while in the same room) are separate. That means while you shower the bath can be filling up. It gives you the Japanese option of washing yourself clean in the shower and then getting into a hot bath to relax straight away.
Breakfast was also great - unlike most hotels, someone takes you to your table first...

My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
The room was very spacious. The staff sets up traditional futon mattresses while you're at dinner, and these are very comfortable. The en-suite onsen is truly luxurious as promised, although be sure to look up steps for how to shower/prepare if you have not done one before!
They also open up the main onsens for private use between 10pm and 6am (during the day they're gender-restricted).

This is a FANTASTIC hotel, we stayed for just 2 nights, but wished we could have stayed longer. I don't usually rate hotels on any site, actually this is my first ever rating. But it deserves a 5 star rating. Very helpful, delicious food, warm cosy room, super clean, all in all a top place.

Really lovely hotel - next to Daiwa shopping centre and on the main tram route (hotel will give you free tram tickets on request)
The onsen facilities are extremely good and the main reason to pick this hotel over its competitors.
No gym but multiple franchise gyms in the vicinity.
5 minutes away is the incredible coffee shop “Sixth or Third” (English-speaking)

Great location 5 mins walk across the road from Toyama station. Had a twin room and the single beds were slightly bigger than standard size. Nice PJs were provided and amenities were provided in the room. No bottled water, but they did provide a water jug and ice bucket in the room and there was a little room with a water (and ice) machine on every floor. Onsen - clean and with good lockers - hot and cold pools available. Also nice basket in the room which was very useful for taking your things...
