"We were extremely satisfied with our stay here. This guesthouse had flexible check-in, a spacious and welcoming room, cozy beds, and a nice clean bathroom. We were also provided breakfast the next morning which is always a wonderful touch. All in all, this place is well worth the stay (and conveniently located near Akureyri on the ring road)"

"This place was great. We stayed here for 1 night before white water rafting the next day. We weren't quite sure if we had the found the right place and called the owner super late. He answerd and gave us instructions on how to find out room. The room was clean, spacious, and warm. The beds were also very comfortable and we enjoyed a great night stay. Would stay there again if in the area. "

"I loved this hotel!! It was 5 minutes away from the center of town, clean, modern, had a pullout couch and a table for three and a nice balcony. There are fridges in the rooms as well as coffeemaker and safe. I don’t understand the negative reviews. It was a nice basic facility that doesn’t pretend that it’s some luxury hotel. The room and bathrooms are large. There are even hot tubs you can use. Check in was easy via email. Best value for Iceland"

"Amazing property and great service . One of the best properties I stayed at during my 8 day trip where I was staying at a different place each day . "We are two couples traveling together in Iceland on the Ring Road. We absolutely loved this hotel. One of us was reminded of the old hotels in England he stayed in. The room was comfortable and clean. We loved the spa on the patio and we ate at the restaurant in the hotel and had a great meal. They even had a vegan option (one of us is vegan) made with vegetables from Icelandic greenhouses. The beds were comfortable and it was a quiet area. Staff were very friendly. Highly recommend."
