"Beautiful brownstone with welcoming staff/owners. My accommodation was in the condo nearby with a beauty bedroom, sitting area and small kitchen. Great location with easy access to the State Capitol and nearby restaurants. Across from the park too, which is lovely. This is a great place to stay in Albany."

"Hallway to my room on the 4th floor smelled bad a mold smell from the carpet. The room lamp lights didn't work properly and the view was terrible."

"Strong smell of smoke everywhere even though rooms were non-smoking. Surfaces and floor were sticky. Cigarette burnt bed sheets. Dirty linens with stain and hair. Saw a few roaches. Fortunately we only needed to stay one night and we had to leave very early the next morning. Saw a lot of homeless people in the vicinity."

"The room was comfortable and clean, the staff friendly, and the breakfast varied with something for everyone. The door keys were unusually, easily demagnetized by proximity to a cellphone, which resulted in lots of trips to the front desk. But every one was patient and friendly about it. The location was very convenient to everywhere we wanted to go in Albany, as well as to some nice walking trails and sights. We enjoyed our stay."
