"Overnight stay was good"

"This hotel needs a complete remodel. I previously stayed at a holiday in express in Rehoboth Delaware and this location is the total opposite. Bathroom sink drained slowly, white shower curtains had mold, I seen a roach in the room, a bad was left behind the coffee machine, paint chipping, poor touch up paint work, booked a king size bed room recieved. 2 king without notice. Then was told they were out of single king rooms...how can that be if I booked that room. The other room I booked I asked for to see if it can be on the same floor they attempted to give me a room that had 2 queen beds( cheaper room than booked) vs the 2 king bed room that was booked. Upon walking out one night I witnessed another guest complain about a rodent and as I suspected they gave her the run around with no supervisor /manager on site to help. Only 1 of the 2 elevators worked for 3 days. And you have to forcefully push the button and hope it stops on your floor. Overall its not up to holiday inn standards.it operates more like a super 8"

"The third floor smells like urine, broken light on bed ,when there where pubes on the shampoo bottles I requested someone clean it or a new room - I was told no one was working but them so they can’t come clean it - so got a new room fifth floor - smelled a lot better - trundle bed mattress was dirty and socks under bed couch - if air was set to 72 a musty smell was as in the room but still better then the 3rd floor smells - went to use the pool and water was all mucky and smelled like dead fish so could not use that at all - I did not get to experience some of the good part that other may have because after the overnight staff member was rude I didn’t bother asking anyone else what the heck was up with the pool and the smell and the musty air "

"Someone puked right outside the rear door to reception. It was never cleaned up despite the fact that the reception clerk went out there to smoke every day. Someone dropped a used tissue and a half eaten mint in our hall. It stayed there for 2 days despite the fact that the chambermaid passed it with her cart at least twice each day. The vanity counter in our nonsmoking room had 2 cigarette burns and 5 undistinguishable spots. I replaced the cabinets in my first home in 1986. The same cabinets are still present in this property but they are no longer white, they are yellowed. One of the chairs in our pet friendly room was pre-gnawed by someone else’s pet. Would I stay here again? A resounding NO. This had an 8 rating on your website. The only way this property earns an 8 is if the scale is 100 instead of 10."

"I had an accident with my room since it leaked water from the bathroom to the room, I recommend remodeling the entire bathroom of this room since it looks "old" the grout of the tile is dirty and I think it is not the quality standard of the Marriott"

"Clean property, staff was very welcoming. Quiet place and convenient to whatever you may need. Loved the breakfast and I even got to have something to go since I was traveling early. They are very accomodating to guests. Great overall option. I would stay again."

"Got my reservation moved after Expedia lost my reservation for a different hotel. Upon walking in, the elevator had trash everywhere, there was staining on the carpet and the room smelled like weed. The smell was so potent that my husband and I had to get a room somewhere else."
