It is off the beaten track surrounded by beautiful gardens and highly perfumed flowers, a small hotel, it is secluded and very private but will all the requirements you need. Food is excellent, all kinds of facilities are available you only have to ask. It has a secluded private beach, a small infinity pool overlooking the sea. Scuba diving is amazing and local tours are amazing.

From the moment we arrived until the day we left, every member of staff was friendly, welcoming and genuinely helpful. The reception team, restaurant staff and bar staff were all exceptional and always made us feel at home.

I just returned from a 9 night stay avdchete are my observations:
The hotel is very centrally located and just seconds away from the beach and the main bars and restaurants.
It has good sound proofing so no disruption to sleep or rest.
They have backup power generators so no disruption to air conditioning, hot water etc.
There are lots of stray dogs around but they don't bother you. The area felt safe but Blue Velvet has 24 hour security for peace of mind.
The restaurant staff are great...

The best thing about this hotel is undoubtedly the staff, especially Eric and the two lads in the restaurant. They take what is already a decent hotel and make it an amazing one.
Unfortunately, the airline lost our luggage, but Eric immediately stepped in and helped us. He personally came out with us to help us find everything we needed, expecting absolutely nothing in return. Five days later, when our luggage finally arrived, he went above and beyond once again by accompanying us to retrieve...
