"Breakfast has different items to choose from. Unfortunately the eggs, sausage and other items on that selection bar are not hot. They are warm. They sit under an open lid that lets the heat out. I wish there was a microwave to heat the food."

A quick discussion with the very accommodating desk clerk had the curtain “fixed” in no time (still needed replacement because it now couldn’t be opened - Lol.) "This is crack central. Dangerous for alone travelers. I was afraid in the parking lot. Avoid this place like the plague. When I checked in I saw the condition of the office and I knew how the room would be. I asked for refund and was told Expedia would contact the owners for a refund. Of course they were unable to reach them. That tells me they know how bad it is. Pass this place up."

"We had a nice 3 night stay at the Maryland Inn. The property was well maintained and we enjoyed the historic elements of it. I did use the provided hairdryer which blew a fuse to our room. They fixed it promptly, but our power subsequently went out 3 more times despite us not using anything. Each time they took care of it and did offer a new room if it continued. I tried to get in touch with the staff, but they did not answer so I just went to the dollar store and bought what I needed. Again for the price it can’t be beat. Just know you’re not in a Hilton."
