"Disappointing and Not as Advertised I hesitate to leave a negative review, particularly for what appears to be a family-run hotel, but I feel obligated to share my experience. The positive reviews led me to believe that Mas de Vence was in considerably better condition than I found it. Throughout the property, open doors revealed offices and maintenance rooms cluttered with discarded items and equipment. My room was not properly cleaned. There was hair on the bathroom floor, an empty vial of what appeared to be a medical solution, and writing on the bedspread. While the sheets appeared clean, I was uncomfortable enough with the overall condition that I had doubts. The furniture was very dated and worn, and my bed appeared to be held together with some sort of fabric tied around the frame. The hotel is a large property that clearly needs considerable maintenance and attention. On the positive side, parking was convenient, and the location is within easy reach of the town center. I did not eat in the restaurant, so I cannot comment on the food. I wasn't expecting luxury, just a clean, reasonably maintained hotel that reflected its description and reviews. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I hope the owners will invest in bringing the property back to a condition that matches guests' expectations."

"Clean room, easy check-in, store bags there for the day when we arrived early. Four people slept comfortably in room, one master bed and one pull-out with 2 twins. 5 min walk to bus stations made it kind of convenient, especially for price. Disappointing that the pool wasn’t open when the weather was warm."
