"We celebrated our 5-year anniversary at Galley Bay at the end of May/beginning of June. We’d like to celebrate benchmark years and our stay at Galley Bay exceeded our already high expectations. It was the perfect stay to mark the occasion (and it would for any other, really). Taking the taxi from the airport was no fuss, but don’t worry about how Antiguans drive - it’s how they drive here and it works. "Blue Waters is "Heaven on Earth" and the staff is great! Make sure you go and see Tiquesha (Concierge) for all of your excursions. Also, Nichole and Julia are great if there are ever any issues with anything. I will be returning to Blue Waters next year!"

"The resort was beautiful, clean , and in the center of everything. I enjoyed Casa Roots restaurant however it’s not in walking distance so a cab is recommended. Also they’re only 3 options of restaurants on the property to eat and their hours vary . I enjoyed the Antigua breakfast at Salt Plage the best . Sandals resort is next door however in order to eat at their restaurants you have to purchase a day pass and I don’t know how much that is. Don’t get suckered I’m to paying for beach chairs ....

"Though my stay was more business oriented, the stay was very peaceful and easy to get work done in a very relaxed setting. Room was very comfortable and staff was helpful and friendly. It is a very peaceful and safe location, perfect to work from, the veranda of the room (each room has separate area) that overlooks the bay/harbour was ideal to wake early in the mornings to work."

"The staff at the resort are friendly and provide helpful information about the area. We were there during the off-season and there are plenty of things to do. We were happy to have a room with a kitchen to cook on nights we were not interested in going out. The room is 3 times the size of an average hotel room. The view is amazing and there is always a taxi available to explore the island. The marina has a few restaurants in the area and the supermarket is within walking distance. The massage...

"I loved the property and how it was set up. A few tiny things niggled me. The jacuzzi bath didn't have a stopper so couldnt use it as a bath. The shower wasnt cleaned properly, there was hairs all over. No other plugs for international guests. Some of the lights didnt work."

"This is an older hotel, not too far from the docks. You can see the cruise ships from your balcony. It was clean and accessible with ramps outside and an elevator. It is right across the street from cute little shops and a few restaurants. Every place I went into took USD. Need to be careful crossing the street. Cars come flying over the hill sometimes! Staying there was great…part of the adventure!"
