"The location of this new(ish) property is great and I think it will be excellent when they are done with all the renovations. The room and beds were very comfortable and clean. Because of the renovations and construction others areas were not so nice. The gym and breakfast room were super."

"This is a very friendly place to stay being a day, week, or longer. I find it very quiet and yet it has that country feel to it. the rooms are very clean, bed is very comfortable, the heater does work very well for the cold mornings and so does the a/c for those warmer days it's close to town and also the Military Base. and yes, I will stay here on my next visit. For me it's a win win"

"Very close in proximity to Alexandria Bay. We could even walk. You will cross the street then the road is calm and a nice walk to downtown. About 1mile to downtown. The property owner is professionally attentive. He checked on us daily to ensure we were happy. The housekeepers came daily to refresh the room. They were professional and helpful."

"The hotel is dated. The rooms are quite small. The breakfast was not very good as the only protein choice was a tiny yogurt or a tiny peanut butter packet. Although the hotel was quite full, the room was quiet."

"Room was clean and staff was friendly. Our room has a broken hair dryer. Our room was in a separate building from the indoor pool which was weird and inconvenient. The beds are very small only double beds and the pillows were hard. There is no microwave but there is a mini fridge in room. Overall was a decent stay but I probably wont stay here again due to the price and the amenities offered."

"I rarely leave bad reviews, but my stay at Candlewood Suites Watertown was honestly very disappointing. Carla at the front desk was kind and accommodating, and she was probably the only positive part of the experience. The room smelled terrible, like a closed unused room full of dust and mold. There were spider webs everywhere, flies inside the room, and the living room area smelled very bad, like it had not been cleaned or used properly for a long time. The curtains were broken, the windows...

"One of the best places I’ve stayed. Family style and the deco fits riverside vibe perfectly. Staff were very helpful and friendly. They let us check in very early and lent us all kinds of stuff including utensils. The shared area was also very nice, with swing chairs and all. The neighborhood was quiet yet adjacent to the river and the pubs. Recommend this to anyone who wants a pleasant stay!"
