"The room was clean, looked like pictures. It’s not a five star hotel but you know that when you book it, you get what you expect. The bathroom had been renovated but the shower was missing one door so the bathroom got all wet when we showered, there was no where to hang up towels after showering which was a bit strange. "The hotel is lovely in every respect. The location is perfect, close to the centre of beautiful Lucca, but in a quiet corner. The rooms are lovely. The bathroom was huge and had twin showers. The finishes were tasteful. The staff was welcoming and always helpful. The breakfast was great. We enjoyed our stay immensely and will return."
