"The view from Fairmont is utterly stunning. This is a great hotel if you’re looking for a bit of seclusion and tons of scenery. The golf course was beautiful and challenging. The food, amenities, rooms- all a 10/10. Staff were beyond courteous and attentive. We will definitely return when we come back to Scotland."

"This hotel is beyond beautiful and worth the stay. Every detail and amenity is well thought out, accompanied by the most kind staff. So often hotels that boast about being the best, fall short. But this hotel is truly an experience that was worth every cent and effort to get here. Breakfast is amazing, the views of The Old Course are breathtaking, and being in the heart of St Andrew’s is a memory that will never get old."

"Wonderful room. Clean, fresh and s great comfy big bed. Could have added a little more on tea/coffee etc and better toiletries however. The plastic bottles were tired and cheap looking. Still, great view, great sleep and great brekkie! 👍💕"

"A beautiful old house in a country setting with large rooms, an onsite bar, restaurant and garden. Breakfast was included and had lots of options (although many of the gluten free options listed were not available). A short walk to Lunan Bay - a lovely beach area. Only downside to this hotel is due to the age of the property it is very creaky. We were on the round floor and were kept awake all night by the person (or pet) in the room above pacing all night. They do provide ear plugs but it wasn't enough to ensure a good or comfortable nights sleep. The room was very large with a good bathroom that was more than suitable for people requiring wheelchair access. Pets are also accepted."
