"The restaurant the room was attached to was good but it seemed like the owner as an afterthought decided to let out rooms. My room was small and shabby. The bathroom was just as tiny. The old satin machine-quilted bedcover had seen better days and its underside had rust stains. The mattress was old and somewhat lumpy. "We had a wonderful stay at B&B Villamena! It is thoughtfully decorated down to each detail, has a beautiful patio with a refreshing swimming pool, and a generous and delicious breakfast. The location was perfect. Free parking across the street and an easy short walk to the main parts of Spello. Spello itself is a gorgeous and charming town! One of the best I have visited in all of Italy. The host had great recommendations for restaurants, wineries and excursions in Umbria. The room was marvelous with a comfortable bed, great shower and AC, and nice and quiet. Quite spacious as well. We loved our visit and hope to return again! "
