"The staff are extremely professional, efficient and welcoming. The restaurant staff are meticulous. Yasmina on reception is an excellent ambassador for your brand. Well done all."
"The hotel was great, super friendly staff and a great pool area, great sized rooms and lovely bathroom. It’s also in a great location for the beach and the Yumbo centre.
The sauna, steam room, jacuzzis and gym were all great facilities and loved using them.
A few improvements would’ve made it brilliant:
- The food was great the first few nights but went a bit downhill. I’d recommend going earlier, everytime we went later the food felt like it was still defrosting or had a post-frozen taste. It was also cold some nights. Dessert was really limited too. Loved the breakfast.
- Could have done with a free water fill station. Also a free soft drink at dinner would’ve been nice for half board. We had to pay even for water, which wasn’t ideal.
- The fridges in the room aren’t even slightly cold, and having to buy drinks made this not ideal.
- An iron would have been appreciated.
- The pool music could do with regular updates, but that’s super minor.
Overall loved our stay, the improvements didn’t impact the overall vibe and it’s a great hotel."
"I booked a superior supreme view of front pool area. What I received was a room too far from elevators and very confusing to find. The view of pool was a little side pool. This was not what I paid for and no staff responded for my request to change. The property is nice but difficult for an older person to get around."
"Feels a bit harsh not to give it as what I going to moan about really can't be helped
It's situated on a main road so being on the balcony can be noise and down by the pool you are getting fumes from the road. It's centre based tho so to be expected.
Room was great and clean - didn't find it dated like some suggest. Plenty of sun loungers and staff especially housekeeping where very friendly. Suppose the question is would I go back there and the answer is yes. Supposedly a star rating lower to a local hotel within the same brand. You wouldn't know it. 👏
Breakfast was the buffet was all know and love these days."
"We loved the location. It was much nicer than surrounding areas in our opinion. Whilst taurito itself didn’t have much for us to do, other than the beach bars, restaurants, it was easy enough to hop on a bus or get a taxi to Puerto de Mogan, Puerto Rico etc!
The hotel itself was lovely. We arrived at 11pm, we were told to leave our bags at reception and go and grab a drink from the bar. We were told that there was a cold buffet from 11:30pm so we could get something to eat, when we went, it was bread rolls, salad and cheese. It was disappointing.
Food overall, breakfast was exactly as you would imagine and I couldn’t fault it! Although, an omelette making bit would absolutely make a difference to the options. Lunch & dinner had a bit of repetitive options. Some dishes were lovely and i could have gone back for seconds, other dishes were a little too adventurous for us and a little off putting, we noticed that on these nights, the restaurant seemed much quieter so I think other guests must have had the same opinions.
Drinks were okay, cocktails were syrupy and sweet. Could certainly tell they didn’t contain much alcohol. It would have been good if there was a cocktail menu that staff would actually prepare the drinks themselves for rather than just the machine.
Transfer was long and we got taxi on return.
Big thing for us, air con was not cool at all!"
"- housekeeping wasn’t everyday and towels aren’t changed everyday which makes it hard to travel with small kids.
- housekeeping was bad, biscuit and crisp crumbs on the floor in the bedroom were never removed the whole stay and toilet smelled off piss the whole stay.
- outdated room and hotel overall, badly need renovation
- washing machine and dryer was handy especially for long stays
- barman was lovely"
