"The hotel had everything I could imagine I might need from umbrellas to wine in the room. Very thoughtful details. Charles and the rest of the team were very welcoming. "I debated writing this review because part of me wanted to gatekeep this place… but who knows when we’ll be back in South Africa? Atlantic View Hotel delivered hands down the best service we’ve ever experienced at a hotel. I didn’t want to leave. The bed was unbelievably comfy, the view was stunning, and don’t even get me started on the breakfast, just wow. Every single staff member was so friendly and welcoming. We had the best time and will 100% stay here again when we return to SA."

    "Absolutely beautiful property. Super comfortable room with great bed and shower. Lovely decor throughout the place with a very tasteful mix of modern and original fittings. Some really thoughtful luxuries: they leave out a scrumptious cake and have a bar with open access to all manner of imbibing options for the evening. Just scribble down what you took. They provide a pick up and drop off service ( Thanks Pinto) to and from dinner ( and presumably other excursions into town) so that you don’t need to drive tipsy. They have a gate that allows you to walk directly to the adjacent Groot winery! Lovely breakfast with eggs, avocado, berries, crossants, etc. Our hosts were wonderful and had tons of helpful tips for our trip. Would definitely stay here again. "
