Be aware that the on-site pizza restaurant is closed several days a week, and when it is, you cannot even use the terrace. "As a traveler from USA, and my Japanese being rudimentary at best, the owner of this location was immensely helpful and kind to be very communicative and checking that I accessed the house. It is a big beautiful home, and I wished I stayed more than just one night. I would definitely visit again, and again go for a walk to The Munch for extravagant coffee. I don’t know if I appropriate let the owner know how thankful I was for their communication and the lovely accommodation....

"I was such a beautiful place to stay! There was plenty of room, and plenty of pillows - rare in Japan! The decoration was very tasteful and welcoming. Staircase was a little narrow, but this is common in Japan and not a fault of the owner. There was only one toilet, which worked fine for our family of 4.
