"We had an excellent stay here. The staff is so kind and friendly. We received room upgrade which made it an extra nice stay. The AC works well, the bed if comfortable, the bathroom was spotless, and the view from the balcony was lovely! We would stay here again! It is on top of a hill, and not an insignificant one so keep that in mind when booking. They also have a free parking lot!"

"It’s not an ideal property- it’s on a busy street and sits above a car rental shop with autos displayed in front, and it’s 2 flight walk up to reception (though I’m told there’s an elevator in back of the building). The view is toward a marina and industrial port- not as picturesque as Chania. The room was comfortably spacious and clean, and staff was great! Very close to bunches of restaurants and shops."

"We loved being right on the beach, and the area wasn’t busy which was lovely. At night, the noise levels were very high as the road is right there and it sounded like our windows were open when they would drive past. "We had a fabulous time at Oros Resort. The staff, especially, were universally fantastic – warm, friendly and professional and could not do enough for us. Even though it caters to families, it is also a great romantic couples resort. With separate pools for families and adults and a lot of space it always feels calm, quiet and relaxed. The resort is finished to a very high standard and is very well thought out. The rooms are excellent. The resort’s part of the beach is the best on Episkopi – soft sand and, again, great attentive staff who are always on the lookout for things they can do for you. The one observation I would make is the resort is a long way on foot from a town and, although there are beach bars and tavernas along the beach, they are spread out, with often a fair distance between. The resort restaurants are great but if you want to find local tavernas outside be prepared for a 30 minute walk. All the tavernas between Georgioupoli and Petres could do with a shuttle bus to move people around. A special shout out for the restaurant Yaku which was amazing. We were initially surprised by the idea Nikkei cuisine in Crete but it was truly beautiful and, again, all the staff were brilliant. Chef Nikos Skamnakis is a master!"
