The staff was great, the location was in perfect walking distance of everything I needed! The room and European style bathrooms stayed clean, and the restaurant in the hotel the Poeta was great!

Super cute and affordable hotel right near a bunch of awesome places and food trucks. There’s a bus stop right near by too so you can save a lot on transportation

Excellent value for the money. Convenient location, helpful staff. A pool within reach of the hotel’s bar and restaurant. Parking is a somewhat pricey add-on, but worth the convenience given how hard it is to park in the immediate area.

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. Great location with a lot to do within walking distance or a short drive/uber ride. The bathroom situation was something new for me but a better experience than I expected. The bathrooms could have been a little cleaner but overall not bad. I enjoyed the pool and appreciated the provided floats. I would definitely stay here again.

Room.was clean. One toilet was blocked up when I arrived and didnt get cleared until the morning. Nice position out of downtown but not too far east.

Had a great stay at East Austin Hotel. Everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful, and polite from start to finish. They even helped me with my luggage after checkout, which I really appreciated. The restrooms and overall property were very clean, and the location was perfect with everything nearby. The whole area felt welcoming and easy to get around. I’d definitely stay here again next time I’m back in Austin.

The hotel is fantastic and decorated beautifully. I upgraded to a private room and enjoyed the views from the balcony walkway facing the pool. Parking was not as peaceful. The 3rd party garage vendor charged me $500+ as soon as I used my card! I was only staying overnight. I canceled the charge and parked at the nearby open lot for about $75 for 24hrs. Told the staff, and they apologized and provided me with the complaint line for the vendor. Otherwise, the hotel was chic, bright and relaxing. Loved wearing the complimentary robe and caftan during my stay.

I would like to see better coordination between the restaurant and hotel. I really like the high quality radio in the room. Austin has wonderful radio stations and it brings it directly to the the guest.

My room was nice and cold. It was very tidy. Restrooms were kept clean. The restaurant and bar, Poeta, was top notch. The martini I had was made just right. The panini was delicious and the light salad that came with it complimented the Italian sandwich quite well. Only downside was parking. You either pay $34/night or find parking on the street for which you have to keep track of your time because of the city meters. If you plan on using your car alot while staying here, it might make financial sense to use street parking. If not, then their garage would be a better choice especially in the summer to keep your car in the shade.

Check in, sleep, check out was perfect. You are on a bar street so it could possibly be loud for you until 2a unless you are out on the town yourself. We were outside as well so it did not affect us. Overall a great hotel and nice spot with a good selection of food in walking distance. Will be staying again.

The day was great. Everything was perfect. The staff was very courteous. I do not like that. There is not an elevator that goes to the third floor, but that is not a dealbreaker. I will definitely be back.

cute and updated hotel! nice pool, good restaurant with it. reasonable price. the shared bathrooms of the cabins were not that bad, like i really did not run into people often. the area around the property, just be a bit careful
