Still good and better than in the beginning.

Simple pension house conveniently located to two shopping areas, 7-11s, fast food, and local eateries. Been going there for at least 12 yrs. and not changing soon.

My family have been here before and will always reserve an accommodation in case we visit Bacolod again. It's not very expensive and if you're after for basic amenities such as airconditioned rooms and wi-fi, this is a place for you. We feel safe being here. All the staff are very courteous and feels like family.

We were on basement, with 3 single beds, and my mother liked the room. However, there was only a ceiling light, and no end tables, no other lighting. Friendly staff!

Wir waren in dieser Unterkunft für eine Nacht und waren sehr zufrieden. Wie schon mehrmals beschrieben ist alles was man für eine einfache Übernachtung benötigt vorhanden: Klimaanlage, Saubere Betten, Bad mit warmen Wasser und allgemein war die Unterkunft sehr Sauber gehalten. Die lage war auch relativ zentral. Plus Punkt für den Instant Coffee und die 3-Minuten Suppen die es dazu gab :). Insgesamt sehr gutes Preis-Leisutngs-Verhältnis !

Nice little inn that's soft on the wallet.

First you need to understand what a "pension house" is. This type of accommodation is usually a bed, toilet, and shower. However, I've been staying at this facility for almost 10 yrs now. The rooms are clean, the beds are Asian style (foam mattress on a wood frame) but still comfortable, nice flat screen TV with cable, WORKING air, and some snacks and coffee mix are provided with the room. Across the street down to the left there is an American themed sports bar and since you're on a main drag access to local malls and shopping is available by taxi, jeepney, or tri-cycle. You're in Asia so you're going to get the occasional bug running through. The people are nice and helpful who run the venue. This place is better than higher priced lodging in the area.

A little far but worth it

Mainstreet is very well known among the local tricycle drivers and everyone around town, so it's easy to find your way there. The room itself was big and spacious, the air conditioning worked well, so did the tv and the warm/hot shower. There was one cockroach one night but one of the attendants was kind enough to help get it out. Even though it's a little fat from town, you can walk a couple blocks to where the jeepneys pass by and go where you need to go. I would recommend this place!

It's a budget stay, very basic

Mainstreet is very well known aroind town so its easy to get a taxi to the pension. Overall, it was a nice stay. There was a cockroach but the bed was comfortable, the location was within walking distance of useful jeepneys and the staff was nice and helpful. As a budget traveller, I would stay here again.

The staff was unfriendly and doesn't even looked and act professional..it's as if she was forced to do her job. We have to leave the place without getting our refund for the key deposit 'cause there was no one on the front desk to entertain us.

I am so impressed

When we arrived, the one who welcomed us has no idea that they have a booking. I was quite worried at first and realize maybe because I didn't book directly to them. i was worried that maybe our room is not yet ready, the lady then led us to a door with opens up to a mini house, inside there are three rooms and she opened the one that is for us. On my relief everything is clean, especially the bathroom since that is I am most particular about. The lady was so accomodating in answering our questions and without being told she went back with extra sheets, towel and pillows. I am impressed on how spacious our room is, she even give us the wifi password without being asked that wifi is available. We were surprised when night comes when the lady knocks and gave us coffee and cup noodles, she does this every night. She is very friendly! great value for your money, I highly recommend this and surely be back.

Cheap Stay in Bacolod

Went here for a business trip. Budget hotel. You get what you pay for.
