"We enjoyed this centrally located hotel. It was really helpful to have air-condtioning since we were there during a heatwave. The staff was helpful and the breakfast, although not as diverse as some places we stayed, was very tasty. We would stay here again."

"Great location in the old city, especially if you enjoy hearing church bells! Adjacent bar/restaurant with terrace was good. Many dining choices within a short walk. Busses every few minutes to train station & other locations. Beautiful old building has been updated to modern standards — good mix of old & new. No air-conditioning, but OK with fan. Lovely breakfast with choice of indoor or outdoor seating. Nicely appointed room, with bidet, but the shower in the tub (room 117) was difficult for someone without good balance."

"This was the most amazing place. The views, the lake, the rooms and especially the staff. We had the most wonderful gentleman checking us in and 2 of the waitstaff went out of their way to help us book train tickets. If we ever return to Switzerland we will be sure too stay here again"

"Great place connected to the castle. We chose this place because it had air conditioning, but it never really cooled off. Swiss haven't figured that out yet. Or maybe because it eas the top floor. They did provide a fan which was very helpful. I would not hesitate to stay again, but only off-season and not during the summer months."
