"Extremely hot during visit and hotel has no air con. Therefore difficult to sleep as did not cool down at all. The hotel is on a main road just off the motorway. It’s 20km from berchtesgaden and the Eagles Nest. It has no real amenities close by except supermarkets and a gas station. We ate in Berchtesgaden as it had life and better option. The hotel is ok for an overnight stay."

"Our room was very clean, attractive and modern, and the view was beautiful in the valley. The hotel staff were friendly. There are walking trails all around. The road to the nearest waterfall was closed for repairs. The door to one of our room 7 family suite balconies was broken and barely possible to open or securely close which made cooling the room difficult in the 35C heat. "We were very pleased with our overnight stay here. It was just one night so we chose a family room for the four of us, including our two young adult children. The room was exactly as pictured except even more comfortable than expected! The balcony wrapped around two sides with stunning views. We enjoyed the convenience of the little beer garden restaurant right next-door. It was very convenient to get to Bertchesgaten for our morning tour."
