The room looked like a chicken coop , the pillow were tiny and so uncomfortable . My day got ruined because of the discomfort . "Stayed for 2 days and it was unmatched. Service was outstanding. The BNB itself was outstanding. Free breakfast served fresh. I will be back next time I am in Kathmandu. Absolutely lovely owner and staff. Highly recommend you stay here. A little tough to find but it is down that dead end Street. Paid 600nr for a taxi from the airport. Not more than that."

Hotel Shanker-Palatial Heritage Kathmandu

Hotel Shanker-Palatial Heritage Kathmandu

10/10 Excellent
"Special mention to Mamata! I recently stayed, and prior to arriving exchanged over 40 emails with Mamata regarding my son's birthday. Mamata always responded straight away and was so helpful. The decorations were very tasteful and beautiful. Upon arrival a few small issues were immediately rectified , (again , by Mamata) ..a real credit to the hotel. All the staff were very friendly and the massages at the Spa were amazing. I loved Kathmandu and shed a tear when leaving. Kathmandu and the people are incredibly special."
