I’d look elsewhere

The first room wasn’t clean yet so we had to swap—no big deal. The second room’s smoke detector was beeping, after a call down someone came up, took the battery out and never replaced it. There was a bunch grossness on the ceiling, looked like someone was popping bottles in there. The ceiling around the shower appeared to be moldy as well. The vibe in the lobby was off-putting and the armed security guards didn’t exactly make us feel safer.

Everything was great except our room did not have a fridge which meant our leftovers from dinner ended up going bad. The staff were wonderful though and we enjoyed the room and location.

Not as good as use to be...

We stayed in this hotel in July 2018 and really liked it so thought we would go back. Lets just say covid put a huge hit on this hotel. No restaurant inside or room service only a coffee machine and no daily housekeeping. The staff is very friendly and nice but I dont think we will come back. The room was chilly at times and could not do anything with the heat, stayed same temp even when adjusting temp.

RL Hotel

Decent for a one night stay. This no frills hotel offered moderately sized rooms. The bed was hard and the street noise continued throughout the night. Our television only received one channel and it took several calls to the front desk for additional pillows. The bathroom was stylish with a huge shower and nice toiletries. The front desk staff was pleasant. I wouldn’t plan to stay a week here, but was okay for one night stay.

Other than the $200 security deposit, one ice machine in entire hotel being in a creepy basement and out of service, $36 valet, no free breakfast, and not so pleasant staff, the room was super nice and clean, a great view of the city, and the bed was comfortable as ever!

King bed was comfortable and very modern bathroom with large shower stall. Bathroom door was frosted glass but very bright in room. No nightlight option. Room designed to sleep three but had only a single chair with small round table, both quite worn. Carpet worn. 4th floor room facing Redwood st..lacking sufficient soundproofing- street noise loud and persistent late into the night. Reasonable price but unlikely to stay there again.-

The Hotel was an unexpectedly pleasant place to stay in Baltimore. The room was very spacious. Disappointing there was no daily room cleaning services available. Was able to ask for extra towels without a problem at check-in. Staff were outstanding. Great Experience. Would stay again.

Nothing works at this hotel

The room's smoke detector was going off the moment I arrived. I informed the front desk. After I was gone for 5 hours, they still had not fixed it. At three in the morning, they moved me to another room. In the morning I went to take a shower, and the shower did not work. Just a horrible stay.

Looks like there is an effort to renovate. Lobby is beat up and some work is going on. Room is really nice and spacious. However in the bathroom one can see sloppy renovations- the toilet roll holder is falling apart( not fixed ) , the shelves in the bathroom are old( can be painted over) scuff on door etc
