"This is my second stay here and it's not my last. This hotel looks unremarkable from the outside but it is beautiful on the inside. Open fires, stunning wood beam ceilings, a fantastic pool and the rooms are spotless. There are spa treatments available but we didn't make use of them this time. The treatments are a bit pricey but i think if you buy a spa package when you're booking your room it works out cheaper, so have a look. The staff in the hotel are all lovely and very friendly. "Room was spotless and the welcome was great. Room was a little bit chilly on the 1st night but the owners provided a supplementary heater which remedied that for the rest of the stay. Breakfast was fab and the stay overall was excellent. 15min walk from the centre of town downhill. "
