The rooms were much smaller than represented. There was 16 inches between the wall and bed on 2 sides. There was not enough room to open a single suitecase. There were additional taxes added when checking in. Breakfast was very nice. There was a large selection. The food was good. The hotel is in a good location. The staff arranged an airport taxi upon checkout. I would not recommend staying here due to the extremely small rooms. The AC is not on in the rooms until later in the year despite the claim they have AC. The shower doors were off the tracks.

The room was stuffy as the AC was not on. When we mentioned it to the front desk, they immediately provided us with a fan for the room. Excellent customer service! Room and hotel very clean. Excellent breakfast buffet.

This hotel exceeded our expectations significantly. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The room was clean and tidy and well serviced. These are so many things to see and do within a short walk. There are also good transport links just a few minutes from the hotel. The breakfast was excellent, much better than many higher rated hotels. Definitely an excellent stay.

Lovely hotel in gothic quarter - within walking distance to everything! Staff was super friendly and helpful as well. Everything was clean and as a solo female traveler, I felt very safe!

El desayuno delicioso con muchas opciones. El cuarto básico y pequeño pero muy limpio. El baño espacioso y bonito. Bastante cerca a las ramblas y al metro para moverse a otros lugares. Restaurantes, bares, super y farmacias muy cerca. Me quedaría otra vez.

Das Hotelzimmer war zwar klein aber für einen Städtetrip völlig ausreichend! Das Zimmer war sauber und die Möbel in einem guten Zustand! Die Auswahl an Frühstück war ausreichend und schmeckte sehr gut! Das Hotel war zentral gelegen und nur unweit zweier U-Bahn Linien! Das einzig negative war der Ausblick vom Zimmer in den Innenhof, dafür war es aber sehr ruhig in der Nacht!

Great staff. Clean and well maintained. On very busy walking street. Unfortunately for me, I wasn't comfortable on their mattress. And, as a single woman traveller, they gave me a very private room, meaning no view and window opened onto an air shaft. But it was quiet!

Great location with lots of food and activities in walking distance. Only issue was the air conditioning the first night was not working and it was a very uncomfortable sleep that night. It eventually turned on and was fine the remainder of the stay so that was good afterwards. Breakfast was the best buffet breakfast we have ever had!

Excellent location about a 3 minute walk from Barcelona Cathedral in the heart of the Gothic Quarter. Our room was on the 4th floor so great to have a lift up! However, would be noisy if you find sleep needs quiet! We had a corner room so two balconies with a street view. Room adequately sized for two though not immensely spacious, that said bathroom & amenities all very good. The staff were lovely & helpful & breakfast was brilliant with loads of choices. Wi-Fi available. Highly recommend the hotel & would use again on a return visit to Barcelona.

Both the Hotel Rialto and Expedia have horrible customer service. Expedia changed the date of our reservation. I found out about it the following day when Expedia requested that I review our stay. I told them I booked a date two weeks later than the date they booked. They replied that I would need to speak with the hotel. The Rialto Hotel said I needed to speak with Expedia. The hotel's representative was completely unsympathetic. I asked the hotel if I could at least get a discount for the date I originally requested, if not a complete credit. I was trying to rebook the date we wanted. They said that was between me and Expedia. Expedia did nothing, and it is next to impossible to find a telephone number. We ended up booking the date with another hotel, thus paying twice for our visit.

Most of thing did not work right. No heat to start with. Water in the shower was shifting from hot to cold. No consistency with cleaning standards and TV was not working properly. All these things were reported to the front desk manager and I did requested to be reimbursed three nights. Waiting on Expedia to contact me.

Optisch ein schönes Hotel von innen und außen, freundliche und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter. Eine große und leckere Auswahl beim Frühstücksbuffet, sogar vegetarisch eine schöne Auswahl. Der Kaffee war nicht unser Geschmack. Leider war das Zimmer unglaublich hellhörig, die Wände haben teilweise gewackelt, wenn jemand anderes auf der Etage eine Tür zuzog. Die Lage ist natürlich perfekt, fußläufig zum Strand, zum Arc de Triomf, zur Kathedrale und anderen Sehenwürdigkeiten. Die U-Bahn ist schnell erreicht, viele Spazier- und Shoppingoptionen in den schmalen Gassen und eine riesige Restarantauswahl.

Perfect location and comfortable room. The staff was very friendly and appeared to be helpful, but never actually responded to the requests we made. The requests were minor, so it didn’t greatly impact our stay…they were just an annoyance. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the staff in the breakfast room was outstanding.
