"I was there in very cold weather and I could not get the heat pump any hotter to warm the room up. The nice lady in reception said she'd get the man to fix it the next day, but when he looked at it (I had to go back) he said you had to turn the fan up onto full which didn't make much difference. However she did loan me a small heater that helped a lot, which I kept to the end of my stay. Rooms were not serviced after three days, we had to request clean towels."

"Everything was perfect. The pool is spectacular. The gardens beautiful and tranquil. Cannot fault this retreat. Folk that stay at these places 1. Please be mindful that folk who book into "retreats" don't want to hear your voice 2. Don't want to see or hear your children. 3. Indeed not suitable for children as there are monsters and wolves and other creatures that will steal them away in the night. "

"My room was modern, clean, with a bar fridge and makings for a cuppa, the mattress and pillows were extremely comfortable. Bathrooms down the squeey old beautiful wooden floor were modern and clean. Overall, a lovely urgent one-night stay. Oh, and the staff were lovely. Only comment: the space under the door could do with a Raven slip to stop the very bright corridor lights at night. Thank you."
