"This is a simple hotel, but is very well-located (short walk to the bazaar, the harbor, and more). Rooms are quite small, but clean. The breakfast is good, and includes a variety of items. Street noise is low, but in the two nights we were there it seemed a lot of guests were coming and going (and slamming doors) well past midnight. We also found an unusually high amount of cigarette smoke smell wafting through the hotel (even for Turkiye, where cigarette smoke is everywhere). Not sure if it was coming from guests flouting the rules, or from staff, or from outside - but it was noticeable."

"The surprise upgrade to my room when I checked it was nice. The room and staff were nice overall, and the food I ordered for room service was amazing. The view of the ocean/sea from my room was beautiful. I really enjoyed the selections available for breakfast; that’s the best breakfast buffet I have ever seen at a hotel in Izmir. The only issue I had was with the water color in the shower/tub. It was a bit yellowish until you let it run a little while."
