"This was a good motel. All the linens were very clean and the room felt clean. I appreciated the large refrigerator and lots of drawers in the room. I was glad they also made sure to have a plug by the bed for your phones. The breakfast was good too. Oatmeal, tons of different granola bars, pastries, fruit, yogurt, juice and coffee. "This feels like a transitional location rather than a destination. We stayed just one night on our way to somewhere else and it seemed like that was the case with most other patrons. "I liked that the property was in a convenient location, easy to find on main road. I didn’t like the staff. They didn’t tell me anything about amenities. I had to ask if they had any food for breakfast and never knew that there was a swimming pool. Never noticed it either. Also, the most I ever paid for a single room. "The Dexter will be nice once they get all of the construction done; address the hot water issues, and maybe add a chair to the room and perhaps a floor lamp, as well. We booked the condo, which featured a kitchenette, but only had a mini fridge that basically fit drinks. Nearest access to ice was in the main hotel, which was quite a walk.
