Could be better, could be worse
The hotel was very cool from the street with a vintage appeal. Our room was pretty outdated, beds weren’t the greatest (but not the worst either), the shower was fairly small, cheap & very basic towels (some stained)......but the tv was newer and had a million channels. The highlight of our stay was the man who greeted us at check-in. He was SUPER friendly and very energetic, so nice that I hate to leave bad remarks about the lodging itself. We wouldn’t go out of our way to stay here again.

The room was clean, older but sufficient for spending a couple of nights. The bathroom was the newest the only negative is the lighting is very bad. It was difficult to even shave in the bathroom....Staff great..No problems..Would stay again if needed.

This looked like an old funeral home and we were in the basement which got no phone service or WiFi service. I think the casket storage area and embalming rooms were converted into motel rooms. The room was clean but you could tell it had not been a motel room orginally

Hi Cathy, Thank you for staying with us for 2 nights. Sorry that you had unsatisfactory stay with us. We wished you would had shared your dissatisfaction with us when we showed you the room before you checked in and told you if you have any issue we can cancel the reservation without any charge. We would have cancelled your next day reservation if you would have informed us when you were having all this issues first night you stayed with us. Also we informed you if u have any issue any concern please reach us out in office by dailing "0" from the room phone or walk in the office as staff is available 24/7. There are phones in all our rooms and room you stayed has router right beside it so there is no question of No WiFi service. As far as history of our facility , it was 10 bedroom house built in 1906 then used as Bed n Breakfast and finally fullfledge Motel since 1950's. So our facility has been motel for last 70 + years and was Never a Funeral home. People assume that this was old Funeral home because of its proximity of cemetery. We really wished you would have shared your concerns when you were here.

room was great and easy to get to. the only flaw was that the pool wasn't ready for use lol just kidding, there was no pool, staff was great and friendly, i would stay there again if i was to come back and loved how the motel looked from the outside

This is an old Victorian styled house turned motel. Though it's dated, it has been remodeled. Shower was a little wonky but very clean. We were shown the room first. Superior desk clerk. He even asked if he could carry anything up.

You can polish a **** but it is still a ****!
Great desk clerk. Friendly service. Room was clean, but very old and in dire need of TLC. Bathtub wouldn't retain water, and the heater was extremely noisy!

Wished you had taken time to check the room thoroughly when we showed it to you and requested to you that if you don't like our property for whatever reason ,we would cancel the reservation without any charges and No question asked. Surprisingly clean and affordable. Could not get the TV to work for other than the Food Channel. The manager went out of his way to be accommodating.

Pleasant stay
The man at the check-in desk was very helpful and friendly. The internet connection was lost, a bit spotty. Nothing fancy, the room was comfortable but dated.

Staff was super friendly and room was very clean.Conviently located by several restaurants. Heat worked well and several television channels to choose from. Even though located on main road the traffic noise wasn't a bother or heard.

This was my second enjoyable stay at the Rosemount. Both times I had a room in the historic main part of the hotel. The room was clean and very pleasant, the staff extremely nice and accommodating. The Rosemount is conveniently located and a truly unique lodging experience.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. They showed us our room before we checked in to make sure we were satisfied with the room we were given. If we weren’t happy with the room, they would have given us another room or cancelled our reservation with no fee. It’s a great room for the cheap price. The room was clean, the mattresses were comfortable, and the room had a TV, fridge, and microwave. We had no complaints!

Don't stay there is bed bugs.
We turned down this room and stayed at a different hotel because this hotel had bed bugs so don't satay and take the chance of bringing it home with you.

We are very confident about cleanliness of our rooms and that's the reason we show guest the rooms before they even fill out the registration card and let them know that if you don't like the room for whatever reason we will cancel the reservation free of charge. We can't do much when guest have already made their mind not to stay with us before getting out the car in the parking lot and Thinking that accusing and putting wrong Allegation will justify their decision not to stay with us. Plus We wonder how would guest find if there is any bedbugs without checking or removing sheets, comforters, pillows, Bed-skirts.

Wonderful experience and stay.
This place was absolutely amazing!!! When my wife and I arrived and went to the front desk we got a welcome that we have never ever gotten anytime or anywhere in our 42 years together. The staff was so friendly and personal that my wife and I were totally astonished!!! The man that greeted us took us to our room and said that if we didn't like it he would not hold us to our reservation or charge us a cancellation fee so he made sure that we were satisfied with every aspect of the room before continuing the tour. We told him everything was great in the room and then he proceeded to make sure we understood how to use the tv remote and what each set of channels did such as each category of channels and their meaning. He also went on and recommended things to go see and places to eat in the area without us even asking him. Every time that he saw us he greeted us by name. We can't recall this friendly professionalism ever being done to us at any motel or hotel ever! If we go back to the area again we would definitely stay again and will recommend this to all of our acquaintances for sure.

Beautiful historic landmark
I can't begin to describe how wonderful my experience was. I had needed to change my check in date and the manger was very accommodating. The staff was equally accommodating and very friendly. The main portion of the motel is in a 100 year old limestone clad private home as was the room I requested. It is an architectural gem with its detailed carvings. Two limestone lions guard the entrance and mark both streets adjacent to the motel.

Amazing staff
The gentleman who greeted us from the beginning was pleasant as could be! He showed us the room before we agreed, and showed us how everything worked. Once we agreed to stay he suggested tons of things to do locally and around Indianapolis, his service was excellent! The room it self was average decor but clean, cold a/c, tv, quiet, comfy bed! We enjoyed our one night had we been there longer we would've stayed there again! Highly recommended, especially for the cleanliness, and kindness of the owner! PS blue springs caverns are a must!

This is an historic hotel that has been added onto. We stayed in the added section. The room access is from the parking lot. The parking is behind the building and quite safe. We had no check in issues. In fact the clerk let us see the room before we committed to the stay. The room was clean and cozy. We needed a place for a couple of nights and this fit the bill.

I needed a room for the night. I was attending a square dance that evening. Did not need luxury just a place to sleep and take a shower. The people were friendly, the location convenient. Price was great.
