The Highlights:
The location of this rental is fantastic—just a stone’s throw from the University and right around the corner from several major bus stops, making it incredibly easy to get around. We loved just being around the corner of a street packed with great shops, restaurants, and pubs; Ryan’s Pub just down the road was a particular highlight for a fun night out.
The host was very responsive initially, allowing us to check in early after a quick message. For those looking for a functional space, this is a two-bedroom, 1.5-bath setup with a full kitchen and a washer. The heating was excellent and there was plenty of hot water, which made for a comfortable temperature throughout our stay.
Areas for Improvement:
While the place is a great "bare bones" option, there were a few drawbacks. The towels were quite worn and could stand to be replaced, and the overall cleanliness could have been a bit sharper. Most frustratingly, the Wi-Fi password provided did not work. Although the owner was helpful with the early check-in, the response regarding the internet was slow, so we ended up going without connectivity during our stay.
Verdict: A solid, no-frills choice if you prioritize location and basic amenities like a kitchen and laundry, but be prepared for a very simple setup.
