"On arrival was told the restaurant would not be open during our stay, but we could order in however no facilities in the room ie plates, knives and forks! We ate out. No hangers in room and possums IN the roof, no sleep. Changed rooms, no possums but 4 coat hangers whoop whoop! Maleny was lovely but would not stay at Tranquil Park again."

"I had a mixed stay. The good? The staff are lovely overall. The property & gardens are beautiful. Breakfast was delicious. The bad? Unfortunately my room wasn't ready at check in time, which I usually wouldn't be upset about apart from having paid a high rater due to it being holiday season. Skeleton staff was to blame (due to the holiday season) but in my opinion if you're not able to accommodate guests don't charge them top dollar, OR limit the number of rooms on offer, OR at least call...

"King safari tent was perfectly located with river views and spacious for us . Lots of grassed area with soccer nets for a kick of a ball . Jetty for a fish and fire pit for toasty fire of an evening .pool and play area a hit for families with kids. The tents bathroom screen and under the bed and in the nitty bitty areas that are generally out of sight was filthy caked with build up of dust . "Great location and very good reception staff. No lifts so if stairs are a problem probably best to give it a miss or ask for a room at ground level. Only real downside was the very soft mattress - not great for those of use with bad backs"
