"Terrible Service. False Advertising. Careless Management Called the hotel on 15/1/2026 about rates for 3 rooms. Expedia was offering Rs.3040 plus taxes including breakfast for King Size room with Sofabed. Talked to the manager to discuss options for matching room & rates. Was told to book it through Expedia. Even though I explained them why pay commission to third party instead make a reservation directly with the hotel. After arriving to the hotel, I learned that, they can manipulate things...

"First of all, Hotels advertised rates locally were cheaper than what Expedia charged me. Even if I booked two rooms, the property were not aware of it. They had only one room prepared. This is despite I called them twice on the day before I checked in. The rooms were very smelly, bathroom were disgusting. The WiFi was not working as per the person who checked in, but next day they told it was working. TV channels were not working. Duvets were smelling and not clean. They had kettle for heating...

"After booking on Expedia, I called and informed hotel that we will reach at 28 th morning at 4.30 am though hotel is booked for 27 to 28 January. Informed same on WhatsApp also about booking. Also reminded on 27 th night that we are reaching 28 th morning at 4.30 am. However when reached with family on 28 th morning at 4.30 am, hotel staff told that room is allocated to someone else and you have to wait till 6 am when another room is getting vacant. "As title - This is a scam posting! DO NOT book this place thru Hotels.com as this hotel has no relations with them. All contact info provided in this scam post are dead ends and go nowhere. The Tourist Home Lodging is a real hotel at the listed address though. And thank goodness the hotel manager was amazing in helping us out and getting us a room ready and available last minute as basically all of Aurangabad was sold out that night. We would have literally been left out in the street as...
