32nd Anniversary Stay

Awesome place with beautiful grounds and accommodations. John and Jitka were wonderful hosts. The room was great with many amenities. Our one knock is the room would not cool off, but that could be because it was in the high 90's all weekend. Breakfast was incredible every morning with bottomless coffee. John's cooking was delicious.

Charming B&B in a Great Location

Great location in proximity to the vineyards and St. Joseph. Well-kept, clean, quiet. Owners were extremely friendly. The grounds were well-maintained and full of flowers. 3-course breakfast was fantastic! Highly recommend for a quick getaway.

Yummy Breakfast, beautiful home!

We stayed here as a central location for the wineries and water activities. Jitka and John were just lovely and breakfasts were outstanding, even dessert for breakfast! The grounds are just beautiful, the house is as well, and the bed was very comfortable. If you're looking for a B&B in the St. Joseph area we highly recommend the Dove Nest, amply named because John has doves and pigeons on sight!

Nice Bed and Breakfast in a quiet location

The room was very comfortable and quiet. The breakfasts were very good and plentiful. The hosts Jitka and John were very accommodating. The host John had some very interesting stories, I personally could have listened all day.The grounds of their home was beautiful. Would highly recommend this place! Very romantic getaway.

Great place for any couple or small family!

Everything was great! The room was super clean and comfortable and the breakfast was top notch. The grounds were very soothing and relaxing and isolated without being too far from town. I highly recommend this B&B

Perfect Place to Stay MI Wine Country

This is a great place to stay when visiting the Southwestern MI winery's, This is in about the center of all the wineries in this area. Rural Location and difficult to find at night, be there before sundown. John is a Great Host and very interesting to talk to. Many interesting features on the grounds and a superb breakfast.

The Perfect Weekend Getaway

We had a spectacular time at this B&B. The owners were so cordial and friendly. We stayed in their newly opened "pond walkout suite". It had a living room that would sleep extra family members if we had brought them, a kitchen and dining area, and bedroom. It was all furnished beautifully and our room walked out onto a beautiful pond with a fountain and comfy chairs. The only sounds were birds chirping, bullfrogs croaking and an occasional rooster crowing. It was quite lovely. The three course breakfasts were delicious and were served outdoors on the deck. The owners were very friendly and John had built the house and did all the landscaping himself. The property was surrounded by plants and beautiful full grown trees. It was a short and easy drive to downtown St. Joseph's with its beach and restaurants as well as to 15 local wineries. We were so glad to have found this tranquil and lovely Bed and Breakfast and would recommend it highly.

Amazing Tranquil B&B

This tranquil B&B was nothing but amazing and we cannot fault it at all. The house run by a couple was SUPER clean and maintained to an impeccable standard. The host is a great cook and serves a 3-course breakfast every morning. Ideally located close to Lake Michigan, this B&B was in a great secluded location with well maintained grounds and facilities. We'll certainly be coming - just to stay here!

I loved everything from the cozy, comfy bed, the fireplace, the hospitable innkeepers to th relaxing environment. The innkeepers were so kind and accommodating. Fantastic breakfast! I can't wait to stay there again!

Amazing place - paper thin walls

Delicious breakfast! Lovely setting! Slightly far from St Jo but not a huge deal. You can hear your neighbors below and next to your room so bring ear plugs...

Terrific bed and breakfast.

The Dove Nest is a fantastic bed and breakfast. The owner is extremely helpful, friendly, and the meals were delicious. The rooms and linen were clean, and the view from the room is tranquil and inviting. We will definitely be back.

A comfortable and clean B&B with hospitable owners

My mom and I recently stayed as guests at Dove Nest B&B. I booked a trip to St. Joseph at the last minute, and noticed good online reviews about this locale. The reviews rang true for the status of this B&B. The owners were more than hospitable and even greeted us as we arrived in their driveway and fumbled with our things. The grounds are gorgeous and calm-inducing, and offers a variety of sun, gardens, shade and pond. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and was served with such care. We didn't find a spot of dirt or questionable cleanliness anywhere, and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud. My mom and I had a lovely time, and we certainly would like to return some day.

Nice B&B tragically located away from downtown.

Wonderful owned house, nice breakfast, comfortable room with a nice backyard lake and garden. THe only negative is how far it is located from town. Not horrible if you have a car, but not really walkable to the beach or downtown.
