Great location, access to the s bahn and to the shops is perfect. Ideal location also to see the sites of Berlin
Was close to the main shopping area of Kurfürstendamm, the Church, Zoo and nearby Train station, Zoologischer Garten, which will take you to Spandau or in the other direction to the Airport on the S9 service.
Hotel was clean, and room was spacious, breakfast had alot of choice of hot or cold food.
Staff were friendly and always seemed happy to assist.
Comfortable hotel. Good breakfast selection. Walkable to public transport

Short Break 2024
We found all the staff very friendly, polite and helpful at Park Plaza Hotel, Berlin, the room was lovely and clean and a good size.
The hotel was within easy reach of the train station and hop on hop off bus which we found extremely handy. All was great.
Good check in, clean room, very quiet, great breakfast and lovely staff.
Room coffee pod machine was unusable because it wasnt clean unfortunately.
Bed comfortable and location was perfect as underground was only 10 minute walk
The staff were friendly and very helpful. I had been diagnosed with Coeliac disease only a few days before arriving and they were incredibly helpful in providing me with breakfast options. Everything had clear allergen labels on, too, which was great. The rooms were very clean and the hotel was well placed within the district with very easy access to the S-Bahn.

Disliked: Cleanliness
Negative: rooms have not been updated in a while (not modern, broken drawers, etc.), cleanliness was mediocre at best (stains on mirrors, previous guest’s trash still under the bed, bugs in bathroom)
Positive: the staff was very friendly and helpful
The cleaniness is ok, the rooms are in desperate need of an update. The location is fine for S and U bahn and there is plenty of restaurants within close proximity. The bar is ok and the breakfast is limited but again ok. I will say the staff are friendly and make every effort to welcome you. I wouldnt race back but wouldnt have big objections if i was put there....better can be found. Not a 4 star in my opinion.

The hotel is conveniently situated close to Ku’damm and all Berlin attractions. The facility itself not modern, would need essential renovation. When you do not plan to spend a lot of time in your room, will be ok. Nice breakfast restaurant, good service.
A big drawback - no parking available you need to use public parking (it’s not evident from the info on their website).
The street is quite busy and a lot of noise from ambulances when they pass just in front of your window. Air conditioning does not work properly.

The room has good amenities: mini fridge, kettle, mug, glasses, tea/coffee slippers. I used buses and s-bahn and they're not far, within walking distance. My issue is with cleanliness. This is very rare for a European hotel, but the room smelled unclean, the shower floor was disgustingly dirty from packed on and not cleaned dirt from people's feet. The shower floods a bit and there is slimy mold where the water gets trapped. They use the excuse for being "an ecological" hotel (literally what they tell you at the reception when they explain why housekeeping won't be cleaning during your stay, but it's a way to hide mismanagement or budget problems, or laziness. Who knows. Certainly not coming back. Also, this is a comment to a number of hotels, not just this one: what's with not using liners for trash bins??? Isn't it more hygienic and easier on the staff. Why do I have to plan what to throw away first (like I don't want a qtip that I cleaned my ear with- sorry- to land first, you know)
