We booked this hotel because it was so close to an event we had booked at ZipWorld 5 minutes away, so not only was this a convenient stay but it turned out to be a luxury treat! The hotel surpassed our expectations and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly.
Amazing food at the restaurant and a great selection of drinks at the bar….especially the Headliner Welsh whiskey! ☺️

Great hotel, lovely location and nice food. We woukd stay again if in the area.
Staff were lovely, hotel had everything you could want and the food, especially breakfast was top class. A bit short on parking and not a fan of the automated check in but it was simple enough. A beautiful place to visit and great hotel to stay in.

Lovely hotel, the staff were great and the rooms spotless. Great location too!
Nicely refurbished hotel, excellent food and breakfast. Not sure I like the self service check in, not that it didn’t work, it did but just prefer the personal touch for a hotel striving for the boutique feel. Overall a nice stay and friendly staff. They missed cleaning the room one day which was disappointing.
Great location & generally a nice room but very uncomfortable bed (could feel the springs) and pillows not very supportive.
Limited range of continental breakfast options but nice cooked breakfast.
Extremely helpful & accommodating staff.
Bar is beautiful!
Breakfast was very nice.
Room was a bit of a let down, felt a bit run down & bed was uncomfortable. But was a fire exit room so maybe that’s why?
Had a really pleasant stay at Gwydyr Hotel. The hotel is charming, well-maintained, and very comfortable, with spotless rooms and a cosy atmosphere. Service was warm and attentive, and breakfast was delicious.
Just a small note that there’s no lift, but staff were helpful and everything else more than made up for it. Would happily stay again and recommend it.
Very central location to the village. Welcomed on arrival with easy check in and check out. Dinner was v good and bar staff friendly. Nice short stay this time but we hope to return for a longer stay next time
Brilliant stay. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Location is perfect for exploring snowdonia and lots of cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely come back
