"The house was impressive on the outside when we arrived. Once inside, the initial impression was good. As we checked things out, though, we found some things that we were not happy with. The fan in Master bedroom did not work. The remote control had corroded batteries in it. I did find a new battery in a drawer and tried to make it work, but it never did. "Upon arrival surrounding area was not inviting. Seemed slummy. Front porch steps broken and unlevel. Looked unkempt. Front door window was very large. Could view inside home with no secure feeling, no blind or cover up. Very neat appearance when entering, however could tell this was a very old home that was dolled up a little. Hardwood floors felt they would cave in at any moment, not clean, grouty and dirty. Could see foot print stains of shoe bottoms in the glare of the floor. Master bedroom...

"The property was very nice for my one-night stay. Very clean and the location was great for access to downtown San Antonio! If you are a light sleeper, I recommend bringing earplugs as the A/C unit in the bedroom was a bit loud. All in all, definitely recommend."

"This place is marketed as a 2br and it is not. They know it is not because when you get your confirmation email it clearly says 1 bedroom. i called and asked and the rep assured it was a 2 bedroom. there is 1 bedroom with a full bed and a twin bunk bed in the hallway. it is not a 2nd bed room. not 1 dresser drawer for clothes we had to live out our suitcases. also the beds have fleas or something because they were biting me all night. I did not complain about this or report while i was there...
