"It is too far walking from train station. Bus not operating due to construction for a week. Even bus is operating, you still need to walk uphill about 500 m . We have to walk uphill for about 20 mins. I would suggest to stay in Grindelwald ( nice view ) or Interlaken area. They picked us up but their rate is not standardized, depends on the receptionist. First time pick up, they charged CHF 8. Going down to train station also the same CHF 8. When we call again, for pick up at train station, the...

"We absolutely loved our Mountain View. The location is right by grindelwald first which is really nice to get there early. The breakfast buffet was more American than we are used to in Europe with overeasy eggs and bacon, which was a plus for us. The staff was so helpful and being able to have a shuttle service from the terminal is nice because even though it’s not far it is a little up hill. It was also rainy when we left too. There is no air conditioning which is normal in Europe but I did...

"The mountain views are the reason to stay here. It is spectacular! The staff was excellent and Pasta & More was an excellent choice for food as well. The room was great, we had the mountain view with a full deck on two sides and it was so much fun to walk out and admire the scenery throughout the day. The only issues were that the blankets seemed to have some stains at the food of the bed and the hot water would fluctuate in the shower. Overall it was an excellent place to stay and easy to...

"I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel in Wengen. The location was beautiful, and my whole experience there made my time in the Swiss Alps even more special. The staff were always incredibly helpful, welcoming, and polite. A special thank you to Tomás, who was incredibly kind and carried my very heavy suitcase all the way up the stairs for me. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and I truly appreciated his help and kindness. I had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this hotel to...

"Since the Schilthorn corp. bought this property it is being run as an afterthought. Front desk closed, no communication with guests before arrival as to how to gain access to room, they left an envelope with key card that didn’t work, had to wait for someone from sister hotel to walk over and fix. No breakfast here, had to walk to sister hotel for that and restaurant closed during our stay. Better to book elsewhere"
