"Great hotel for my one night stay. Pleasant staff and the bar food was good. Only downside was the free parking in the Asda multi storey about 100 metres away. There is however pay and display parking opposite the hotel. Overall a good experience."

"Excellent hotel - rooms are big, clean and beds very comfortable. Reception on duty (Krystyna) was fantastic - extremely warm welcome, friendly and helpful. A real credit to the hotel. Unfortunately both the quality of food and the service in restaurant were not as high as in previous stays. Very slow service - drinks took an age to arrive - requested condiments never did arrive. "Booked two rooms for myself and family. First thing I noticed on arrival was how warm and inviting it looked. Next was the lovely welcome we received on checking in. We had two rooms adjacent to each other which were spacious, clean and very comfortable. We went for dinner and were greeted by the fantastic staff. Nothing was too much and service top notch. "The Strand Inn was a great place to stay in Dunmore East. Sitting right on the beach, the property had a beautiful patio and dining area overlooking the water. The rooms weren’t very big but the bed was super comfortable and if you had a waterfront room than you were able to listen to the waves crash as you slept. We would definitely stay here again. "

It is an older building, which has its pros and cons - quirky and full of character, though the bathroom area in our room was on the small side. The location is lovely, very close to the waterfront with good views, but the town and its amenities are on the other side of quite a long bridge. Would recommend overall."

"Excellent value as always with Travelodge. My first time staying at Waterford and I will definitely be back again. The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect and the manager Noel is a nice guy and is very helpful with things to do and see in the area. Safe car parking, a good shower and a good night's sleep is all you need."

"Grove Farm House B & B is lovely. Our host was really friendly, she made us a cup of tea when we arrived. Made sure we we're comfortable. "

"We stayed in the cabin in the back which was…. Absolutely adorable and as pictured. I would highly recommend to communicate with the host ahead of time, because while the contact phone number is listed at multiple points on the property, it can be difficult for a traveler without phone service. I was traveling from another country and had data only, I was fortunate to have a local person lend me their phone so I could check in that first evening. That is my only advice for anyone wanting to stay...

The location was ideal to so many places. The owner is lovely and was quick to resolve any issues.
