"Wow! What an amazing rural escape, nestled in the vineyards with swooping swifts and just the sound of a nearby waterfall. The host was simply outstanding! He recommended local places, offered and made dinner, and spoke superb English .Accommodation was simple yet perfect. Nothing was too much trouble for the host and even remembered my birthday!"

"It is a pleasure to write a review of Casa das Capelas. It is a large and beautiful, fully renovated, historical building, set in lovely grounds. My excellent room looked out over rolling countryside. So peaceful. And the owners were extremely hospitable. There is a great patio to have a glass of wine, meet a few locals and eat a light dinner. "A wonderful place to get away and enjoy the fresh air, great food, and friendly atmosphere."
