"Skip this hotel. Room was outdated and dirty. Mold in the shower, a lot of hair on the floor in the bathroom, dirty mirror, counter and sink. The carpet was filthy, the air conditioner and mini fridge were both dirty. The sofa had stains on it and I had to put a towel on it to sit on it and there wasn't a coffee table in the room as shown in the picture. The window in the room was covered with a white film that covered the majority of the window. The pool has been closed for "repairs" for three...

"Had real bad weather with tornado warnings, and sirens going off and there was no safety plan from staff. Was told we would go to staff laundry room but they did not unlock it and when asked about it we were told not to worry it only gets windy and there’s never a tornado since she lived there. Tv in lobby was on but went off and they never put back on for us to follow weather. Lack of emergency management training. Just so happens tornado hit Merrillville that night, too close for comfort. "The home was just as pictured and in excellent condition. The host had snacks, coffee and drinks available upon our arrival. The host also personally checked in to be sure we had everything we needed. We enjoyed the balcony porch overlooking a large pond.
